Foster Care and Adoption research links

There are over 120,000 orphans in the U.S. and over 140 million orphans world-wide. The U.S. has over 300,000 churches. Even if we had only one adopting Christian family in each church, we could help many of those who dream of having someone to call "Mom" and "Dad". Sadly, our American culture embraces a me-first attitude that stifles self-sacrifice. Am I too distracted from loving and caring for these orphans who are hurting? Please consider raising an orphan in the Lord. Pursing comfort and convenience is meaningless in comparison.
